What is Identity Access Management?
Identity access management is the process of providing access to appropriate data/information only to the intended audience(s) through a secured network which is authorised and authenticated using defined policies and tools.
What is Authenticate, Authorize and Accounting?
- Authenticate β Is a unique information/data which differentials the audience from each other to prove the identity of oneself. (Userid/Password/Fingerprint)

- Authorize β Capability of enforcing the policies on the resources/data through authentication (Granting/Denying access)

- Accounting β Means of monitoring the user activities over the data accessed through the network. (Event logs/User activity monitoring)

Why is AAA Important while implementing IAM?
